A glance into the future

By Bilkisu Muhammad Salisu
Today we put on uniforms and get punished for coming late to school, missing practical sessions, and inability to complete homework; we are being punished for not doing the right thing. But all these are for a reason and someday, our hard work will reflect in our lives.

Tomorrow we will not be wearing school uniforms but the opposite, that is; wigs and gowns as lawyers, lab coats and stethoscopes as doctors, suits as bankers, helmets as engineers, and so on.

Tomorrow we will have our offices, cars, houses, etc. That is when we will know the importance of education. We will remember our teachers and pray for them. We will tell our children our childhood stories and they will laugh and learn from us.

So if you want your tomorrow to be a fairy tale for you, you must work hard and think of the future.
