Hijab and the Muslim woman

By Hajara Yahuza Idris

Hijab which covers the head particularly is worn by the muslim woman beyond the age of puberty in the presence of non-related adult males. It can further be defined as the covering of the body from head to toe apart from the face and hands. It does not only refer to the physical body covering, but also the heart. Just because one wears hijab doesn’t mean the person has a good heart. As a Muslimah, a pure heart is a necessity before wearing the hijab or else you’d be seen as hypocrite.
