Capital Science students showcase different culture at festival

The Capital Science Academy, Kado – Abuja held a festival to mark her Annual Cultural Day on Monday, 30th September, 2024, as part of activities marking Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary in the school premises.

The event was organised in line with the six geopolitical zones of North-East, North-West, North-Central, South-East, South-West and South-South. The Zonal Coordinators in conjunction with their students and with the support of parents showcased among others: food, dressing, dance and display of Cultural artifacts in a competitive style.

In a welcome address, the Principal/CEO, Capital Science Academy, Bunuyaminu Bello Yero, underscored the need for cultural awareness among the youth and emphasised the need for unity in diversity as a panacea for peace and progress in Nigeria. He thanked the parents for finding time to be part of the event.

Highlights of the event were the fashion parade, which culminated into the emergence of Brett Anosike and Bianca Ujunwa Obenwa as Mr and Miss CSA for the 2024/2025 academic session. We wish them a successful tenure. Happy Independence Celebration Nigeria!!!!
